Sideways and the city of Helsinki have started a collaboration to advance responsibility. Collaboration will consist of different projects and tools to promote e.g. ecological and social responsibility.

To Sideways and Helsinki it is important that each festival visitor feels save and accepted as they are. Our collaboration seeks for this to apply to all events. According to Sideways’ customer feedback, our visitors feel easy to attend to Sideways as they are, and the possibility to do so is one of our most important values. The work is still not complete, and we will continue as long as it’s needed. For us, you are perfect the way you are!

The collaboration with the city of Helsinki will also include e.g. a carbon footprint calculator, which among other tools helps to evaluate the effects of event production. In addition to this, we will pilot and develop a larger project in the field of social responsibility.

Sideways X Helsinki collaboration will continue and expand after this year’s festival, and more about this will be announced at a later stage.
